Bedrock Books (Pty) Ltd ("Bedrock", "we", "us") respects your privacy and processes personal information in line with South Africa's Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA). This notice explains what we collect on this website, why, and your rights.

What we collect

When you join our waitlist or contact us, we collect what you give us:

• Your name and email address
• Your business name and business type
• Anything you choose to send us by email or WhatsApp

This website does not use advertising cookies or sell data to anyone.

Why we collect it

We use your information for one purpose: to contact you about Bedrock's bookkeeping service — your waitlist place, your founding member offer, and onboarding. The lawful basis is your consent, which you give by submitting the form and can withdraw at any time.

Where it's stored

Waitlist submissions are stored securely with our website host, Netlify, and in our email system. Access is limited to the people who run Bedrock.

How long we keep it

We keep waitlist information until you become a client (when a fuller engagement-specific privacy notice applies), or until you ask us to remove you — whichever comes first.

Your rights under POPIA

You may at any time:

• Ask what information we hold about you
• Ask us to correct it
• Ask us to delete it and remove you from the waitlist
• Withdraw consent to be contacted
